# Requesting Access to a Private Collection

If you do not have access to a private collection that you wish to view, you can apply for access within the collection page.

Start by opening the desired "Controlled Access" collection and select the "Apply for Access" button. You will be asked to provide your `Email` and `Why` (the reason for your request).\

Once finished, confirm that you have read and consented to the "Terms of Use" and click "Submit."
