## Synopsis

```shell
omics workbench samples describe [SAMPLE_ID...]
```

## Description

Describe one or more samples, fetching all available information for each samples and printing the results to the console.

## Examples

```shell
omics workbench samples describe sample-123
```

## Positional Arguments

### `SAMPLE_ID`

The specific Sample ID to retrieve information for. The Sample ID can be retrieved from the [samples list](/products/command-line-interface/reference/workbench/samples-list.md) command. Specifying multiple Sample IDs will result in retrieving all samples requested.
